Our customers are small businesses, Internet Service Providers, Managed Service Providers, computer consultants, and other businesses and professional people who buy our software and services to offer Online Backup Services to their clients. RBS does not offer online backup services. Rather, we sell the software and services that other companies use to start and operate their own online backup services. Program Description Our affiliate program is simple. It pays you fifteen percent of the gross price of each sale you refer to us. Our smallest sale is $1,350, and can range up to tens of thousands of dollars. You can see all our prices here. You could earn more than $200 on our smallest sale.
Where can I Advertise? Most of our customers find out about us on the Web. So, that's the best place to advertise. Our customers use search engines, read blogs and press releases. They read articles about going into business for themselves, and about general web technology. Google Adwords, Yahoo, and other search engines are also excellent sources of highly qualified customers. How do I Advertise? Just place a text or graphic link with your Affiliate Number on your website, blog, or email newsletter. Customers who click your link are taken to our web site. How are my clickthroughs tracked? Just like other Affiliate programs. When a customer clicks your link to come to our website, we record your Affiliate Number in a cookie on the customer's computer. The cookie stays there for 90 days. When your customer orders, our web site reads the cookie to get your Affiliate Number, and records your sale. How am I paid on phone-in orders? We require all customers who order from us, even phone-in orders, to click a link and accept a license agreement at our website. When they do that, we capture your Affiliate Number from the cookie. What if a customer has cookies disabled? Less than 10% of browsers have cookies disabled. If we make a sale without an affiliate number, we contact the customer to ask where he heard about us, and then we do the best we can to manually apply a commission. When do I get paid, and how? We pay on the fifteenth of every month, as long as we owe you at least $20. When you sign up, you can tell us how you would like to be paid, by check or by PayPal. If we owe you less than $20, we will wait until the next pay period to pay you. We don't make payments for less than $20. Affiliate Portal You'll have access to detailed reports through your Affiliate Portal, and will be able to track your activity in real time.
